General Care
All pottery and china can crack if exposed to sudden changes in temperature, no matter how strong it is. Don’t take items from the freezer and put them straight into the oven or microwave, or expose to direct heat sources such as stove tops, grills or naked flames.
Stacking
Even the hardest surfaces can be scratched. This can happen with all ceramic goods including your Denby. Please take care when stacking and handling your Denby as scratches can be more visible on coloured glazes.
Care Of Denby’s Oyster Range
Denby’s Oyster range features a mix of unique glazes, including a stunning ‘satin matt’ glaze on a number of items. Should this range show any marking, it should be easily removed with normal washing in soapy water or by placing it in the dishwasher on a normal wash cycle.
If marking persists, we recommend to try using Jiff or any other light abrasive liquid cleaning product. Oyster has all the normal functionality and durability of Denby Stoneware.
